Breast Implants

Hi Everyone,

I just read an interesting article on the relationship between breast implants and cancer, specifially anaplastic large cell lymphoma or ALCL.  This study, published by the journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, concluded that there is evidence to suggest a relationship between implants and ALCL, but it cannot prove that implants cause the disease.

For me, the association should be enough to warrant a discussion with your plastic surgeon!  Be your own advocate.
